Esther’s Wellhouse welcomes new massage therapist – Mary Beth Hogue

Esther’s Wellhouse is excited to announce the addition of a new massage therapist – Mary Beth Hogue of McKinney, KY.

Mary Beth grew up locally here in Lincoln County on her parent’s cattle farm. After high school, she went to the University of the Cumberlands where she earned a degree in English literature.

She put her degree to use and worked as a librarian at Casey County Library. During this time, she often dealt with chronic pain and sought help from different doctors. Eventually, she discovered that massage therapy had the greatest impact.

“Massage was a game changer for me, helping me both mentally and physically,” she said. “I noticed that I felt better for longer periods of time.”

Mary Beth decided she wanted to take it a step further and study massage therapy at Lexington Healing Arts Academy.

“Because of the positive impact massage therapy has given me, I want to pay it forward to other people who are also dealing with chronic pain.”

After receiving her certification, she wanted to stay local and help people in her own community.

“It’s like a gift of service,” she said. “I knew I wanted to help people, and this is how I can give back.”

Mary Beth is excited to be a part of the Esther’s Wellhouse team. Mary Beth’s schedule gives our clients more opportunities for available treatments. To book an appointment with Mary Beth, visit estherswellhouse.com
